First thought: any strap with a rubber lining

...for example, a Camille Fournet specified to have that lining.
An alternative is a shell cordovan strap, which holds up to moisture surprisingly well. I got a Nomos watch in 2013, and today it's still on the original black cordovan (it's part of a rotation), minus one of the keepers. It has even survived getting wet in a tropical rainstorm lasting several hours, no umbrella or poncho, and was back to normal after drying overnight.
Supposedly, Fluco OEMs for Nomos, calls it Chicago. It's available in 19/16 for less than what N charges -- great bang for the buck. (Note: I've no connection to or interest in Fluco 😅, am merely a customer.)

Strap Reccomendations

Hoping someone can recommend some options for watch straps for my Grand Seiko. Currently on leather but I tend to wear the watch less in the summer on account of the strap. Also about to travel to a desert country and would love to take the watch with me....
