My sub ND, speedy and rado captain Cook are my daily. Don't mind them getting some wear and tear. I don't abuse them at all, but day to day. My omega comes back this week. I didn't have them fix anything. Just service. Now my gold watches I tend to be more obsessive about but I don't wear them if I think I will be hitting my wrist on stuff. With small kids, it's hard to know what I'll be doing 🤣

Probably reaching into somewhere or putting kids into the shopping cart etc🤷♂️ actually not too noticeable as I took that on zoom. Just thought I often find the guards bulky or cumbersome... they serve a purpose🤣

Years ago, while wind surfing, a falling mask hit right on the crown of my watch. There was no crown guard, water got into the watch. It was an inexpensive quartz. A crown guard is there to protect but unlike airbags in cars, stay concealed.
