I'm a big fan of the Black Bay 58, but felt the blue bezel was a bit too blue. Instead of waiting 30 years, I decided to go ahead and fade it myself.

Thanks! Just a small amount of bleach which is left on for a couple of minutes. Then I used a very fine wet and dry paper to get a bit more of a uniform finish

I'm nobody to tell you whether you've ruined the bezel or not,

Haha very true, I guess it's always something that can be changed in the future if I want to go back to the original look
