Today’s visit to the hospital
So my beloved girlfriend fell ill yesterday with a suspected (then confirmed and operated) appendicitis. To us it was worst tragedy in years. Due to a fact that we needed to act fast, we came to the Nationa Health Service hospital in London, and my girlfriend received the best possible treatment.
First of all I’m so glad we have a NHS in UK and can use it when needed. Multinational staff is very friendly, well educated and very professional.
Secondly, spending a bit of time at the hospital just opens your eyes. You realise how small our problems are, literally nothing in comparison with other people’s problems.
Let’s enjoy what we have, love, be positive and laugh a lot.

Indeed, that's a good way to look at it! And if you include the tip to the doctors and nurses, that here is considered good practice, then you've saved just enough for a 5235...:-)

I had the same thing happen to me a few years ago. Not pleasant, but the surgery was relatively minor and recovery was quick.

In the USA health is a very hot topic. Not worth getting into.
