To be honest, thte watch size is ok, the bracelet size...

I still find that from first link the size goes down too fast , i would've made it at least 1-2 mm wider
as now as with all new models like Deepsea, new Sub&Gmt, the bracelet is not in same proportion
as the casesize is but the new clasp is cool....

So for me i immediatly changed it with one of my new Nato straps made of Shell Cordovan ;-)

however, the stubby hands are a tragedy. But if you like, that's the important thing! Best, Adam

Very interesting Philipp

...number crunching in the office.... good to see Rolex Explorer I here, not many articles written about it for a while... we seldom wear our watches to test their elements... Thanks for sharing Philipps.....

I'm very pleased with my 36mm. I want to try on the 39mm to see how it feels on my wrist and to my eyes. The new numbers, the "short" hands and the case size are not my fav things. Enjoy yours. Vte

Likewise...stick to the original 36mm..

a classic should stay a classic unless called for.... Subs have been 40mm.... and imagine one with 44mm....that will take away everything a Sub should be.... just like the original Exp I...

I passed the Rolex AD in Budapest and found the EX1 also.

What I can only say,,,,, i prefer the old one. This new EX1 is too unbalance.
