This is the one billion Dollar question, my friend.
May 24, 2011,10:29 AM
Who knows?
As always, I would recommend to go for the one which please you the most...
That is way much safer than any prediction on values or investment watch.
Some criterias, though:
1/ Do never think that the less you spend the more you earn.
A top condition and complete watch will better keep its value than another one.
2/ Try to guess which, among the not yet winners, will be the future star: Think about Rolex values and philosophy.
3/ Among the " no love watches ", there must be some hiddeen treasures: The Explos seem to be very under rated, for example.
Well, these are only my guesses...
Best,
Nicolas.

All this works by cycles... When I see these markets going very fast, I fear that it won't last too much... What then? Best, Nicolas.

commenting... Diving watches seem to be winners. The cheapest of Rolex Subs, 14060M is still available and probably will be replaced with a new model soon. This basic Submariner is closest to the original and the "M-version" has not been around for many y...

I appreciate all of your inputs. I'm well aware of wanting to own a time keeper that would suit ones personal joy, but the question was purely geared towards an investment as most of you noticed. What would be your thoughts on the Deep Sea? Thanks, Matrix

In our answers, we tried to explain that there is not evidence on this matter. Nothing is sure, my friend, nothing, except your pleasure. Best, Nicolas

I once bought a watch that my wife said she liked on me....really liked. It wasnt that cheap at all. I was not convinced, but bought it because my wife liked it. I wore it for a few days and then ever since, it has sat in my watch box...unworn...unloved. ...

If you are looking for something that may increase in value you want a complete and mint 16600 Seadweller, or 16520 Daytona, or any of the vintage - as good condition as possible and with paper/box/receipts etc, but at the same time the value will be thre...

....... what you mean for "extra cash". If you can spend 5/10/20K, or 60K, or more............ Every range has its "winner" in my opinion, Explorers, as Nicolas said, are a good choice, underestimated for the moment and you stay fairly below 10K with a go...
