I’ve yearned for this watch since its release. It’s a lot of money and I wondered what you think - should I buy or pass?

Thanks guys!

Much cooler in the real than on pictures. Heavy, yes, but very comfortable once on the wrist. ...

Your question gives me the impression that it could become a safe queen

 By: penfriend : September 15th, 2020-00:34
and thus I would not take it

+1 Well said! [nt]

I think that this is a fantastic reference since everyone knows how expensive this watch is

Yet however, its not bling bling at all. That is a combination we dont have very often. I really like the color combination, too. Fantastic. However, i personally would buy a Patek, Lange or Vacheron complication for the money, enjoy your journey!

Your choice

But I would go all in and take the diamonds index version - don't be shy ;-)

It’s a special Daytona I would...

Pull the trigger for it if I were you! I believe the only way you can respond to that question yourself is : how did you feel when you had it on your wrist ?

It's a fantastic watch

but only you can answer that question. Lots of options at that price.

pass

But if your heart says it’s the most beautiful watch, go for it.

If you're undecided or have doubts it probably doesn't make sense [nt]

You are the one who getting married, if you divorce probably you will be break even if it is a forced marriage it probably won't last very long and too soon may be mean some losses. For example I like some of its features but it is not for me, my wife sta...

That is one of the watches that will never leave my collection

If you can afford it, I am sure you won't regret it! ...

If I could, I would!

Lovely dial but yes to the mildy-trained or expert eye, it will inevitably generate some attention. Half the joy of platinum is other people not knowing, from that angle it's a fail but then again, what a dial!

The thing that struck me the most is that you’ve “yearned for this watch since its release”...it’s a really strong feeling that we don’t have for many watches.

 By: FabR : September 15th, 2020-03:07
Frankly, if that feeling was confirmed when you tried it on your wrist...then it’s such a great Rolex that I would go for it — no doubt about it!😉🥂

Yes yes and yes.

Since you are not 100% sure yourself

 By: MTR : September 15th, 2020-03:20
and need our opinion: let it go. Pass it. There´s no place for doubts in this price range. IMHO. All the best Thomas

If you are buying from an AD I think it’s a go

These are not so readily available and trading at a an ever-growing premium. I’m sure you will love it, but if you don’t, because it’s a hot commodity you could always get out of it. Personally, I think it’s the coolest, most special watch rolex has made ...

Definitely one of my fav Rolex watch.

If the money isnt a issue i would go for it

Irregardless how I love the watch . . .

 By: Jim14 : September 15th, 2020-07:54
. . .+1 to the idea that "if you have any doubts, probably not the purchase you should make".

One of my horological regrets

 By: pongster : September 15th, 2020-08:25
Not getting it a couple of years back. Offered by AD at a discount. Was already on my wrist. A friend is also contemplating a similar issue (platona OR AP RG brick chronograph). I told him the same message above and showed this same picture. ...

Thanks

These could have been had for USD$52-55,000 as short as 3 years ago.....Now selling over the USD$75K retail price preowned. Regardless, I think it’s a very exclusive and beautiful watch.

Love mine.

 By: KonaJ : September 15th, 2020-16:43
It is the second most worn watch own. If you can get it at retail, jump on it! Nothing to lose, you should be able to sell it for a profit.

If you need confirmation

 By: watch-er : September 16th, 2020-06:24
I suggest you pass. A watch for so money should scream out to you in loud, clear and certain terms.

Just my opinion.

 By: Wristenthusiast : September 16th, 2020-21:42
If you have tried it on your wrist and did not immediately think “ oh my god, yes!” Then it is not the watch for you. And that is ok. You don’t have to like it just because many people do. I have never had an AD offer me one. I would buy it if offered to m...

I passed because I DID NOT love the brown dial

 By: ppatti99 : September 19th, 2020-14:38
And that was at $50K a few years ago. Everyone has their opinions obviously. I ended up with the Platinum Glacier President and LOVE IT!!
