Hello friends! We are enjoying a wonderful Spring Saturday morning here and It inspired me to take some additional shots of my new catch I shared yesterday. I’m very excited with this watch which arrived last week after a so long wait and I’m enjoying it ...  

Nice Rolex. Is that the new Coke ??😜

Previously only offered with the Jubilee only. I must confess that as a drink I prefer Coke, but for a GMT a Pepsi. (though I also own a previous GMT reference 16710 Coke in my collection). Cheers! Abel

... the brand willing to buy one of their products for their own use and satisfaction. I´ve been a fan, user and collector of the brand for more than fifty years and was very upset I couldn´t find this watch for my collection while the market prices soar ...

I stopped by my AD on Thursday to say hello with zero expectations of seeing any watches. He is actually a really nice (and fair) guy and we have become friends over the past few years. There are not any AD'S close to where I live so it is a pretty good d...  

Had to actually go get my wallet out of the car as I had no idea he would be offering me the piece. I have had the all black and Root-beer in the past, but prefer the Pepsi for the bezel colors.

Though the modern GMT’s lack the charm of vintage this is a watch I desired so much. It completes the evolution of this iconic model from 6542 till today. And of course it’s a magnificent product from Rolex. I feel you would enjoy it so much too! Cheers! ...

I was monitoring the new releases at that time as well and there was a Tudor GMT being released at the same time. Thinking that the Rolex Pepsi was too difficult to get, I talked to Tudor AD immediately about getting the BB GMT. After a wait of 11 months,... 

... which starting with a single model (the wonderful red bezel diver watch) led to a long list of awesome models. Among them the GMT variant. I also got an example of the Tudor GMT in July 2018, same year of introduction of the Pepsi Rolex GMT. I find it... 

I agree with you that Tudor offers excellent watches at very good prices. In 2018 the BB GMT with bracelet was listed at $3950 I remember, which was an incredible value for an in-house movement. I noticed that many Tudor models would be hard to get right ...

Your comments on building good relationships with ADs are spot on. I started to do better recently. When I began watch collecting, I bought quite a few watches when I traveled on business trips. Although I got better prices from these ADs, it was not good... 

I feel your present relation and purchases will bring good results. You´ll be getting your DJ green palm soon and you´ll get your GMT as well. Agree that patience is needed in Life as in Collecting and our hobby helps to build that patience and perseveran...
