Easy enough to get overlooked beside,say, an Explorer 1.
It also doesn't give off a serious professional Rolex vibe like a sub or a gmt so what is it really one may wonder.
The knowing smiles come after a bit of time with it.
So it makes the proposition a bit tricky.. it's one of those pieces that if you don't buy it, you won't really understand it but then how would you consider it in the first place if it doesn't smile back at you at first glance?
Luckily, I'm one of those that get intrigued with their quirky unpopular offerings. Otherwise, I don't think I'd ever get a chance to own a Rolex in these crazy times.
Thank heavens they didn't come out with a new Milgauss or Explorer II
