Spotted in Paris: A pair of Rolex Daytona 6239, Black and Silver dials.
I said it many times, I am not a huge fan of vintage Daytona, but I must admit that when you fall on a nice one, it may change your perception.
Here, I didn't fall on one, but two very nice Daytona 6239.
And once again, I wondered which one I would prefer, between the black:
Or the silver:
Some would say that both is the answer, and it is true that in black and in silver, they have a different character which would justify such an answer, but it is not very realistic as the value of these vintage Daytona has reached the stratospheric sphere...
Which one would you like?

Cruel dilemna my friend, pfiou both look so nice !
I know I choose the answer you don’t want me to but yes in this case no way to separate these false twins they are so complementary. Better let go some other pieces of the stable which are less attractive and get this fantastic pair... I know it is easier...
Silver dial, black sub-dials.
A lot of eye appeal to me. Also, I prefer the sub-dial hands of the silver dial. M4
