Spending this week with a favorite modern Rolex

Not in production anymore for almost a decade, but still a very nice Rolex to wear. Nice size, great case profile and wears very nice on top of being versatile. 

I prefer this older 40mm case with slimmer lugs and slimmer hands compared to the newer 42mm and fat hands. It’s a personal opinion as the new size doesn’t sit on small wrists very well.

The rotor had come off some years back and I was too lazy to take it to the spa, so for a good number of years I was still winding it manually and it would run flawlessly, just without the "perpetual" part. That's the one thing with Rolex movements, it do...
