My hesitations

Aug 27, 2020,03:38 AM

I’ve hesitated because of :

1) the size, that’s why I’ve tried a gold model to check how was this watch on my wrist (17,5 cm).

2) the dial on pictures was crowded but in reality it appears ok for me.

3) I’m hunting others models (Air King, Milgauss : 6541 look if launch in September or without GV if not, Dajtejust 41 black dual jubilé considering Rolex brand).

4) I’ve received 4 Rolex during summer (116500, BLNR BLRO) and I’ve found the 116600 that I was hunting for years). So I prefer to wait before a new arrival in order to savor my recent acquisitions.

But if I got the call I I will be happy too !

Best

Sky-Dweller experience

One can think about Rolex what one wants, but they sure do know how to make watches. High standard industrial quality. I’ve had on my wrist now for half a year, it fits like a glove and feels as if it belongs there. Never thought I’d like a Rolex that muc...

I completely agree ...

Rolex make a great watch.

Thanks for chiming in, Captain

After my last Rolex (bought in 2009) I was under the distinct impression it would be my last one. Until they came with caliber 9001. That triggered me.

That’s interesting...

I still enjoy a Rolex on a regular basis. They strike a perfect balance of style, functional design and quality.

They do, indeed.

To be more precise, my last one was a Day-Date. Thinking I had reached Rolex's Zenith, I figured it would be my last Rolex.

I must confess that I didn't like it when I saw the first press pictures and that I changed my mind when I saw it in the flesh.

Our dear Raymond's one: The fluted bezel, even if it has its function, still bugs me a bit, but who knows, perhaps I will end with one? Enjoy yours, my friend. Nicolas ...

Thanks, Nicolas

You'd almost suspect it to be German; everything is functional and well thought about. The first iterations from 2012 I didn't like that much, those rather big arabic numerals.. Agreed, this is a watch you must see on your wrist or at least in real life. ...

Rolex inevitably of course ;-) I like it a lot, a winner

I see it as a great and desirable alternative to the others. The day Rolex will think of me, offering a different bezel, I would get them to embed it on my wrist. As it is, I keep on looking at it forcing my finger out from the trigger. Thank you for shar...

Time for you to get "trigger happy" ;)

It was my pleasure, glad you liked it.

A desirable model...

I am on 3 lists in Paris, Lyon and Monaco ... I admit I have hesitated because of its size and its dial. I tried it gold and I must say it charmed me. It remains to be seen if and when it will arrive ... Best

Thanks, hope it arrives soon.

Why did you hesitate because of it's dial, what about it?

I need time because I have a small wrist ;-)

I admit, it's almost pornographic and totally insane. But I couldn't resist to take this picture as they arrived almost at the same time (Except the sub) It was a so incongruous situation after months of waiting. The hazards of the waiting lists. At the s...

To savour your new watches is a very good and satisfying idea.

My wrist size is 19½. The picture shown above doesn't reflect reality that much. it's a bit distorted (crappy IPhone shot). A Datejust, black dial and Jubilee bracelet is such a nice classic.

3 years and still going strong. :)
