Rolex sub - how small can it go?

May 26, 2018,22:36 PM

My wife is set on getting the Hulk sub. She has small wrists @ 5inch. Can anyone tell me if the Strap can go this small?

Is that the smallest sub Rolex do? Are they all 40mm (date/no date)

Thanks!

I think it is not posible with the normal srewed links. You have to destroy the the bracelet and take away not screwed links.

I think, talking from my own experience, the HULK is not a good choice. May be it works for some hours, but for every day the HULK is to haevy and to big for this wrist. But I know, it is a challenge to explain this. So good luck! Best Walter

Rolex can probably shorten

would be my guess. They take the links apart during service so I am sure they can shorten to any length by removing the fixed links.

Walter makes good points.

But if there’s no swaying her, you could put it on a strap and that easily solves the issue.

Although my knowledge of Subs is limited, a key issue to consider is the bracelet clasp. My thin-wristed wife wears my old 1972 Sub, loosely, with all removable links removed. This would not have been possible for her with the white gold "Smurf" I owned f...
