Yes, the Yatchmaster has been made in smaller sizes. I believe they still do. Check their website. I believe my sister has a 36mm or so.

Yacht-Master and Explorer
Yacht-Master 1 originally came in 35mm and 40mm Later 35mm was disconnected and now that watch bears 37mm. Explorer 1 came as 1665. in 38mm then 40mm and currently resides in 42mm I think you might be referring to the Explorer 1 though! Earlier ones 1016....
