Rolex Daytona Paul Newman 6239.

A watch I saw a couple of months ago, in Paris.

The " Djinn Shot ". smile))

I always had mixed feelings about the Pail Newman. Cool to see, but on my wrist, not that thrilling, strangely.

And you always have a fear that it is not totally original, unless if the provenance is crystal clear.

Best,

Nicolas

This is a real one! Unlike the 90% fakes out there

I agree though On the wrist I don’t see the hype on this, its more a status symbol a vintage equivalent of Richard Mille

Well said!

Years ago I tried on the PN

It's a photogenic watch, Actually, it doesn't matter if its PN or just 6265/3. The case is high, like the Tudors of today, but "acceptable" cause it's a PN... That real or not thing, is true. like the DRSD, there are more reds then white 1665,,, The watch...

Talking Tudors, on the wrist I like this one much more

For me provenance is everything particularly with timepieces such as this (but I would also argue even from those in the more affordable luxury ranges too - mid 4 figures and lower 5 figures).
