Rolex 5512 gilt 1965
The Rolex 5512 has four main dial configurations for the glossy gilt dials. In the chapter ring segment we have the two line and the four line always PCG and between 1959 and 1962 +~. Both examples below have the exclamation point at 6.

Then we move to the transitional year 1963 for the Rolex 5512 where we see the non chapter ring Swiss only glossy gilt. The case remains PCG. There are various underline positions.

Finally the forth of the gilt 5512 dials from 1964 - 1966. We have the Swiss T <25 glossy gilt with round crown guards. The serial range in this segment ends in the 1.4 mil range. I will try to snap a few more pictures of the models together.


I will try and put a 5512 gilt report together soon to explore this model in more details.
