Here again, I hesitate between the Blue or the Black dialed version. Not at the point to get one, but I like it. The detail which bugs me is the fluted bezel... Even if I understand its functionality. Best, Nicolas ...

And I felt exactly the same and it took me a few years and the birth of the blue dial to convince me. I think you and I have similar taste and the bezel was wrong to begin with as it to me belonged on a Datejust in white gold and not on such a sporty comp...  

In general I think Rolex hands are not has visible as they should be due to how they polish them compared to other brands. Except for the more sporty hands like in the submariners and the like, I find most of the "straight" hands from Rolex do not provide...

seen any Sky-Dweller to which this has been done - which may say something in itself as I have seen lots of them - but if I let my imagination run wild, I can picture how mine would look de-cyclopsed and the best I can do is not burst into tears. Cheers M...

But once I tried on the SkyD and played with the ingenious bezel and how it functioned, I was sold. I will repeat what I have said prior, although I am a huge chronograph fan and the majority of my most beloved watches are chronographs, I feel the SkyD is...

In fact there are a couple watches, sky dweller being one of them, that I kind of still want even though it’s too big for me. The dial. The one thing I think that would make the dial cleaner is if the 24 hr register only showed numerals from say 11 o’cloc... 

I had tried it on years ago. It was the same blue dial but in white gold. In the end I walked away from it. But since then I bought a 40mm polar explorer 2, a 41mm Tudor black bay GMT, a 36mm explorer 1 and have a blue BB58 coming. All for less than the s...

But buying just to hold on and sell later isn’t my thing. I sold my blue dial patek 5980 because it just didn’t wear right on me. I made money, but that’s not my general pursuit.
