Pelagos FXD

Dec 19, 2021,02:10 AM

I knew when I saw this watch that I needed it.  I’ve always loved the Black Bay line of watches and have come close to acquiring a Black Bay 58 on many occasions.

However, for whatever reason, when the new Pelagos FXD was released with its no-date dial and simplified indices, I was immediately smitten.

Very happy with the acquisition.  And further reinforces for me that expensiveness doesn’t correlate with satisfaction.

In addition, I find the watch even nicer in the flesh. The pictures don’t really do it justice.

Congrats! I hope you're enjoying it! I know the feeling...

I searched all summer for a titanium or ceramic dive watch that could live nicely on a velcro / elastic strap. An ultimate casual fun watch ideally with a little color, lots of lume, and with something a little more interesting than an ETA. The FXD is lik...

Congrats! I think Tudor has now become the ultimate tool watch.

Bezel Minute Markers

 By: Koozy : December 19th, 2021-10:58
Congrats on the purchase. Any idea why the minute markers seem so inconsistent around the bezel, sometimes 3 minutes, sometimes 4 minutes, between the numbers. Doesn't even seem symmetrical. Is it function over aesthetic?

Just a matter of space,

Had the same type of bezel inserts. I think it’s just a real estate issue. Doesn’t bother me at all. Of note, this is a countdown bezel used specifically for underwater navigation

Love it

I've been wearing mine all weekend - really a great watch in the metal and much more comfortable that the numbers would suggest. Congrats!
