One more detail
I forgot to mention another interesting detail of these dials, the absence of hyphen between GMT and MASTER II (a detail shared with the 16660 Mk3, were there’s no hyphen between SEA and DWELLER).
I am also aware of the existence of 16760 Mk1 (no date) without hyphen, but in the more traditional non-rail configuration. I was told these “non hyphen” dials were manufactured by Stern (and are prone to cracking), but so far I’ve not been brave enough to open the watch to check it.
