a modern one is very possible...the black and blue is attractive to me for sure. I am also wondering what Rolex will release next year on GMT.... a pepsi possibly? That would also be a very attractive proposal.....
However, Ken's blue insert red hand is one that constantly attracts my attention....that too must be on the menu.
6542? Well, you know why I have not gone down that path before....its because it is a tricky path....a long LONG LONG path. And one that would take a long time to conclude. Now, do i want to take that path? At the moment, the answer is no. Too many other projects and too little time to pursue properly. I would guess that IF it was a project to attack, it would be 2015 or later.

Yes we had a mini GTG to welcome the 6239. Now my previous Lone vintage 8171 padellone has a younger brother. The rest of the group belongs to friends who share the same passion on vintage Rolex. Best Iceman
... collection! You surely have a great good taste in selecting your watches! The brown sub dials of your 6239 adds a lot of charm and good looks to this fine timepiece. Anyway, it remains difficult to me to understand if it really exist "ordinary" Dayton...
