I have been collecting the Doxa watches for about ten years.

They did not see any meaningful appreciations over that period so the originals are still within reason (no Rolex inflation).

I just love the history around the brand with the early Helium release valve in 1968 supposedly with Rolex Geneva and all the dive history with Cousteau and all the sea lab connection.

The Doxa 300 reissue was true perfection when it comes to the reissue market a real tribute to the original ex the bracelet which I tend to be a nato strap guy.

U.S. divers are cool to and I love my Seiko 6105 and 62mas.

These dive watches are addictive.

 By: Bobbe : December 12th, 2019-08:28
Strap made from new old stock Marine Nationale webbing from decommisioned parachutes from 1960s. ...

Very cool strap. Is it one of Erika's

Time to order a strap. Who and where is Erika?!

Bill, what are your thoughts on the new 300T from Doxa?

 By: JohnFM : December 12th, 2019-09:49
I know they can't compare to your vintage piece, but I'm curious how the two compare. If I recall, the 300T has the body/case shape and size of the 1200T but trimmer without the helium release valve. I love the SUB300 anniversary models, by the way, but t...

I love the 300 anniversary bought them all. But i need to feel the new 300t in my hand.

Ha! Nice collection

I see some Aqualungs -- Diving with Legends too? Look forward to hearing your thoughts on the 300T once it gets to you. Did you pick up the SUB 200 Anniversary too?

Did not go for the 200 I always like to start with the originals. Never jumped in.

A few more Sub 300 no T. below original right - Below three originals. Below Doxa 300 no (t) circa 1967-1968 all originals. ...

Wow Bill -- good stuff.

Have you had a few of these for many years or are they recent acquisitions? Great to see you enjoy these vintage pieces, as well as some of the newer ones. Doxa did a great job with its SUB300 reissue, staying true to the original.

The devil is in the details and you got them right ;-)

Thanks Bobbe. You're ordering a new 300T too?

 By: JohnFM : December 12th, 2019-09:53
I'm tempted but I know there have been some changes at Doxa.

I'm sure your new 300T will be great Bobbe

 By: JohnFM : December 12th, 2019-10:18
I was referring to things you probably already know -- management changes, new website, new models (e.g., SUB 200). One thing I do find interesting about the new 300T is that it appears to have the same case thickness (14.0 mm) as the 1200T. Since it lack...

Very cool combo. Bravo. [nt]
