I read, re-read, and read yet again your posting on TRF.

You were rude, you spiraled into an expletive ridden rant, because you know full well, as you claim to be a so-called “newbie” an annoying term in and of itself, yet your nickname is 5512sub. Please. As a “newbie” you have the insight, or perhaps it is a random moniker you picked out of thin air, referencing a vintage submariner, I believe the first COSC sub by Rolex, and you don’t know who any of the experts in the field are, or need to turn to TRF for expertise? Seriously? I have been on watch forums and collecting for more than 20 years. If you are truly the “newbie” you claim to be, then you could have taken the time to see that there have been thousands of so-called newbies who sign up on watch forums with watches that seem suspiciously posted for authentication, and the so-called newbies somehow have been able to determine reference numbers and materials, ie. Bakelite that 99 percent of the world would never know. Then they fight with everyone who disagrees or calls the watch into question. Then they disappear. Or get banned. And, Mr. Newbie, you need to look no further than the so-called experts, some of whom you likely argued with, who call the 1655 a “Steve McQueen” explorer. One need look no further than that to understand their so called “expertise”.
However, I digress. Your behavior is not new. This is a nice forum with nice people. You have wasted time here because, as you claim on TRF (in accordance with and similarly to the posers and self-proclaimed achievers and wealth ridden folks) that you are going to give the “family” 100k for the watch (with your exorbitant disposable income). Again, such statements are made by the usual suspects. So authenticity of parts or the watch is irrelevant, and your questions here are irrelevant, because your decision has already been made. I assume that you have already transferred the funds and the watch is now all yours for the keeping. Any further dialogue can only be to inflame people, cause arguments, and upset the calm. You made your decision, take it to Eric Ku and see what he says, and I for one would love to see his response. He has also been known to travel to see a watch, so perhaps you can convince him to do so. He is one of the top experts in the field. Or, perhaps, take your 100k watch to one of the Ridleys.
By the way, if all that you say is true, which I personally doubt, it is probably not a good idea to show up at a party not knowing anyone, and within a short time begin to insult people, and direct expletives towards them, and then dictate how they should behave, act, and speak, when you know full well, Mr. Newbie, that they have dealt with this 1000 times over and over again.
