And another reason why I don't really like to post them anywhere. People are on both sides of the fence when it comes to vintage Daytonas, me included.
I was into them many years ago and luckily had a chance to see literally hundreds of them pass through my hands. Back then, they were nowhere near as much as they are today. The explosive nature of the vintage market has left many people with polarizing views, again me included.
The problem is that now, even simple 6239, 6241, 6263, 6265 models are multiples of what they should be and multiples of current Daytonas. Hard to justify that to most collectors π€·ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈ
Just an example is a recent auction for a 6264 JPS that sold for 1.5 million. Just insane prices π€£ππ€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈ
