Rolex

Most important thing in buying a watch is that the owner is completely satisfied with it...

... and enjoys it and smiles each time he wears or views it. It really doesn´t matter what others think of it.

I had been trying the new SD in an AD a few weeks ago, and I personally regret the size. I would had preferred it without cyclops of course, as I am an old fashioned persona and fond of vintage Rolex models.

But my main concern is the size, as I found it very big for a Rolex and for my personal taste.
Though I loved the red name on dial of course!

I let it pass but I feel I will take a new look in a near future; that red name on dial kept haunting my mind! Lol!

The watch is superbly finished and as you well said there are several improvements inside. If it had kept the 40 mm size of the present Submariner line I wouldn´t hessitated in taking the plunge even with the cyclops. It is a fantastic watch specially for potential new owners who have no ties (like me) with the older versions of the SD.

Congrats and keep enjoying your superb new watch!
All the best, Abel.
