The choice for the Rolex Milgauss with the special anti magnetic function was abit easier as it has enough USP to select it. For the submariner Green bezel, it represents the last of the aluminium bezel and the green bezel and “50th anniversary” of submariner also made it easier to choose.
I have taken a longer time to decide for the GMT2 green arrow as I was previously much prefer to have the vintage aluminium bezel. However, since the GMT2 marks the start of the so called “ceramic bezel”, plus it has the maxi dial look, I have finally decided to go for it.
All the newer models are so expensive now owing to the need to pay premium prices have deterred me from moving in. Better to stick to the vintage ones especially those pieces that are still affordable and interesting …
