May I join my dear D?? I´m specially fond of the vintage Milgauss. Early models like those shown by you and Nicolas are regrettably out of reach nowadays...
... as prices of vintage Rolex tool models have escalated to the sky in the last years.
The ref 1019 is one of my grails which have been eluding me for years. Soon its prices will be in the sky as well.
A great option is the modern interpretation of this model, of which several variants of dials exist. My favorite is the green glass/black dial version which I like to wear with leather straps.

Rolex is running Milgauss content almost exclusively on their social media which is what they do when they plan to introduce a new model.
What I would really love to see is a NON-Daytona chronograph, along the lines of a modern version of the 6238
That is, a chronograph in a case like the Air King (ie not a Cellini), with a smooth bezel and tachymeter scale on the dial (no bezel). Make it water proof and anti-magnetic. I’d prefer steel but they could also do such a watch in precious metal. Now THAT...

Swapped the silver one for a 5711 and auctioned off the black one. I love the design, but didn’t want to wear them with the very real scarcity of spare parts.
