I agree with you that Tudor offers excellent watches at very good prices. In 2018 the BB GMT with bracelet was listed at $3950 I remember, which was an incredible value for an in-house movement. I noticed that many Tudor models would be hard to get right after release and would be traded over list at the secondary market. But after some time Tudor would boost the volume and the watches would be a lot available, so no more over the list prices. So, with some patience, it is not so hard to get a Tudor model one likes.
It is much different to get a Rolex at retail prices. I was lucky to get a submariner no date earlier this year and the boutique let me make a special order for a Datejust green palm dial in June. I am still waiting for the delivery. It will be a much longer wait for the GMT master 2 in stainless steel.
