The sinister Submariner 14060M LGF is chiming in happily to the tune.
Now on a somewhat more positive note 😉 what a discovery this watch has been for me. I have always been so negative regarding the Submariner that I’m almost shocked how much pleasure this watch is giving me! And I have to thank, or blame as my retirement fund is almost non existent anymore, our Big Navigator for it.
His compelling ‘Identifying Future Classic Rolex Part 1’ made me take the plunge with Kermit (yes yes pun intended). And soon thereafter the LGF came along. Now the acquisition of the LGF had reasons on a personal level only. It all has to do with friendship. And that makes this watch even more special!

It is well on its way to becoming a mythical legend in its own right.

...and I love the LGF! Great photo of a great Submariner with at least cult potential in our Purists forum 👍🏻
Fantastic photo of a quintessential Rolex!

The date Subs, Sea Dwellers, and Explorers are wonderful too, but there is something special about this simple and iconic classic.
