Introducing my new (to me) GMT Master 1675, dating all the way back to 1966 😎
Dear fellow WIS,
Am proud to present to you my latest acquisition, a 1675 GMT-Master with black bezel from 1966 !
Unfortunately, it features a replacement dial from the mid-eighties but overall it sure looks the business.
This reference seems to be quite the forum favorite, and now I understand why: the domed acrylic crystal, sharp cornered lugs and beautiful jubilee bracelet all contribute to what is an amazing vintage piece with plenty of historical provenance. Also slightly prefer the font used on the dial compared to later versions, but this is all very personal of course:

I’m always amazed how current these vintage Rolexes look. The Rolex dna is well preserved indeed. I hope you enjoy and wear it in the best of health!
