I'm afraid I didn't asked at the AD, but according to Rolex site the premium is around $20K

Unfortunately, the new 42 wasn't in stock, but must be gorgeous. The size must be still reasonable, as the 40mm in rose doesn't look big at all.

Thanks!

I love this watch, not sure how long I will resist... I also tried this on for fun. I must confess I like the dial, although definitely not for me. ...

;) Keep us posted. [nt]

Waiting for a response from my AD

 By: 1WatchMan : July 11th, 2019-13:38
Hopefully soon, I see it available in most of the ADs' windows, so hope mine is not different 🀞🏻

Thanks my friend, much appreciated

As soon as I have it on the wrist, you'll see it πŸ˜‰

I just received a call from my AD

 By: 1WatchMan : July 15th, 2019-12:24
I have to wait because they don't have any in stock, but the first one to be received with the new movement inside has my name on it πŸ€—

Great! [nt]

I bit disappointed because I was expecting (in my mind) to collect it next week

 By: 1WatchMan : July 15th, 2019-15:31
My AD didn't say any date, but anyways I cannot collect it before October... πŸ˜₯

LOL!!! [nt]

But the Aquanaut won the vote 83-1!!

I guess you’re taking the β€œyou never actually own a Patek” thing quite literally in this round, LOL! Enjoy your YachtMaster if you pull the trigger tomorrow. It is a great watch, too πŸ˜€ NickO

Your point on wearing the Rolex more raises a point I’ve often thought starting a thread on

How important is actual use? I have several watches I really genuinely love but seldom if ever wear. I go back and forth on whether that fact alone suggests I should move them out for something that will garner more wrist time. So I think about that and I...

I believe it's a very personal decision, you may buy watches for different purposes

 By: 1WatchMan : July 11th, 2019-03:31
In my case, I buy watches to wear them, so wearability is a heavy decision-making factor. Even if I love the watch, I don't normally go for it if I realistically believe it doesn't fit into my lifestyle and environment.

It looks great on you!

Best of luck in reaching your decision, but congrats in advance ;-) Cheers, Alex

Thanks Alex! [nt]

Are you still...

a 1WatchMan? All of the YachtMasters are interesting. This one looks great on your wrist.

Thanks Joe, I do like how it looks and feel on the wrist

I still have a 1WatchMan's soul, but fortunately I own more than one at the moment. This is a journey, so at some point I might go back to the origin πŸ˜‰

Ahahahaha...

I'm not criticising, just wondering. I am also a 1 watch person in spirit (for now) ;-)

It all started looking for the perfect one and only

 By: 1WatchMan : July 11th, 2019-16:32
And I'm still liking for it πŸ˜‹

I thought my perfect watch was a Rolex Sub...and true it was great. For various reasons including the perception it gives to others about wearing a Rolex, I couldn't wear it much any more, so I sold it. In the meantime this journey is taking me to other b...

I perfectly understand your points

Let's see where this journey takes us eventually...

Just curious how much more $ for the diamond paved?

The watch look great on you! Have you also tried on he 42mm white gold?

I'm afraid I didn't asked at the AD, but according to Rolex site the premium is around $20K

Good suggestion!

I really love the blue face. If I hadn't other watches, this would be in my collection already.

What about this one?

 By: amanico : July 11th, 2019-03:41
...

I've always loved that one, since years

 By: 1WatchMan : July 11th, 2019-04:14
But believe it or not, every time I try it on, it doesn't sing to me... πŸ˜₯

Lovely shot btwπŸ‘ŒπŸ»

 By: 1WatchMan : July 11th, 2019-04:25
This is what is happening to me with the rose YM, it's singing VERY loud from the wrist 😱 On the other hand, I've seen it from the distance on other people wrists in magazines/videos and doesn't look so attractive...

Thanks, my friend. [nt]
