I decided to open up the Rolex glidelock but am finding it harder than I thought it would to put it back together. I am trying to get the two pads (circled below) back into the clasp but cannot seem to get them both in at the same time. Is there anyone wh...

you have to compress the springbar and put the plates at the sides and push the bracelet in place at the claps. I'm not sure it it a easy thing to do so maybe a watchmaker or a AD is the best way to go. ...  

The reference picture is really good, much appreciated. Once both the spring bar and the plates are compressed they are still too wide for the clasp. I am guessing that you may need to stick the plates in the channels of the clasp then slide the bracelet/...

to sound like a “Smart Aleck” or a “Wise Guy”, However: The best thing you can do, is carefully put those pieces in a ziplock bag or a Tupperware -type container and take everything to an Authorized Dealer that says they can help you. Many of them may be ... 

I think the above suggestion of keeping the pads in place is the same way the AD would go about it but if I cannot get it that way I will be going down to my AD once the shops open up again. Thank you

Which should make you feel better. CLICK HERE I do have a $100 tool that holds the springbar in from both sides, but I'm in San Diego and I think you're up towards LA, am I right? Cheers, Mike ...  

I am going to try keeping the pads in the clasp channels. If this does not work I may need to visit haha I have always thought that I should purchase one of those tools!

I have this tool with the small/thin forks and it not works good at Rolex bracelets IMHO.
