I am with you on empeirical research
I always add the caveat in any post or report I make to say these are my observation from examples seen and is never definitive as we always know with Rolex. But once you have some established line it is easier to navigate around the borders and add color but unless Rolex has established/establishes rules we nothing other than our research as guidelines.
