This simple thread started as a way to document my vintage watch collection. I am from Singapore and I have been working and living overseas for the past 20+ years from Vietnam, to Cambodia, to Taiwan to Hong Kong, than to Thailand and now back Hong Kong plus my frequent traveling between Asia and Europe. During these period, the thread has become my sort of a online diary where I could posts and keep some form of documentation of my watches and perhaps the time of purchase.
Vintage watch collection started as a cheap hobbies as 20 plus years ago, these watches were relatively cheap and the demand was not that great. It is considered a "better buy" when comparing with getting the newly produced watches. However, the trend has changed as now vintage watches prices have become very high and the barriers to entry have become so much higher for new collector...
