Oyster with polished Center Links is not GMT-appropriate

Neither is a Jubilee BTW... IMHO... and in fact, I had a chance to get a GMT with Juby and chose a Cameron that day... why? Jubilee is a dress bracelet as is (although less so) a pcl Oyster... and pcls are simply too prone to scratch to be even remotely sporty... but on the other hand... if you buy this watch to wear it as a museum type watch... shrug... why not... but even so... conceptually... PCL's and JUBY do not work on a sport model. STRICTLY brushed Oyster SS. Peeeeeriod.
Rolex has some idea to distinguish pure sport (Sub, SD, Explorers) from GMT (semi-sport?) watches--making GMT's 'dressy'. I dunno why... but who can argue with Rolex's success. But then again, all Subs, SD's and Explorers are now offered with TT...
Conclusion: Rolex is a luxury watch, no one ever uses them to do anything.
BUT! If we view them as concepts that should be true to their identities... ALL SUBS, SD'S, EXPLORERS, GMTS should at least be offered on brushed SS Oysters... right??
