...received the word last week that the white face SS Daytona I ordered nine months ago has arrived. Not for me, alas, but for my son for a birthday present. No pix. But keep waiting...there is still hope!

Have a great wrist time with Daytona. Gold is cheap, so smart to invest.

I thought that Rolex is still closed. They are shipping already. That is great news.

...but was wrong...but all's well that ends well...he is getting it sized now and we will engrave the back this week with luck : )

...I sort of had to talk him into it. He didn’t want anything with a bracelet. Now we are waiting for the engraver to start up again. When they do we will go to the watch shop and pick out the typeface. All’s well that ends well. My younger son has three ... 

Happy for your son. The current white face steel Daytona is the best modern one to get imo.

...just saw my son and the watch. Of course, due to the scarcity I never had the chance to see or try on the current Daytona. I was very surprised to see how light, (relatively) thin, and extremely comfortable it was. I only have my old Sub to compare it ...
