Double happiness. 1 watch for hard core Scuba diving, 1 for skin diving. Or just playing around, casual wear. My opinion. Cool Black Bays. π

The 54 in rubber, 58 in stainless steel bracelet.
Cheers. π» Geross.

Both really nice

Some of it may be the rubber strap, but the 54 has a boxier look. Something elegant about the 58's proportions.

I would well see this BB 54 on a Nato... Hummmmmm. Superb duo you have.

Thanks Buddy. I can live with a 12.3 12.5 mm of thickness in a sport's watch but never over 13 mm. Too fat. π

Both are nice. I have the 58 too. The 54 is too close to the 58 (for me) to desire it as wellβ¦

It satisfies my thirst for an Explorer 1 in 36mm. Or an old Nautilus 3800a. π

Interesting

Do you actually own both? I could see myself having a few doxa subs so I get it, just out of sheer curiosity really. There are just so many great dive watches out there!

With Doxa Subs you get the excuse of different dial colors!

Perhaps a green dial 54 would look great. And if Tudor can make the 54 slightly thinner like 10.5 mm. Definitely a winner of a sport's / dive watch. My opinion. π

I thought the thinness of the 54 was already pretty impressive!

Definitely my favorite Black Bay on the wrist (though so far I've resisted buying myself one!)

It is 11.2mm in thickness. At 10.5mm it will be like a Girard Perregaux Laureato. Which is 10mm. π

I tried on a 38mm Laureato for the first time recently and it wore *beautifully*!
