When window shopping online, I see a lot of counterfeits. The top picture is a 16610 that was for sale on a forum, and the bottom one is my FIL’s 16610. The font on the dial alone gave it away right away, let alone the rest of the watch. Everyone knows to ‘buy the seller’ but you should also ‘buy your own instincts’.

If you follow the lines of the type on the top picture, the width of the letters is consistent throughout. But if you look at the width of the type in the bottom picture, it’s more nuanced, with the letters being thicker at some curves and thinner in othe...

Even with the so called reputable guys, I could not get certainty of some info of the watches at times which I believe they ought to know. But at least they did not pretend they knew. Cheers!
