And another old(ish) Rolex
Sep 27, 2023,12:03 PM
I’m on a roll with the old Rolex thing at the moment. This one I rarely wear, and it’s the younger of the old Rolex that I own. Yet it’s approaching 20 years.
I need to resize the bracelet, my wrist is far skinnier than it was years ago.

I debate this often.

No question a keeper, but I struggle with the fact that while I want to have it I don’t wear it. But when I do wear it, I love it! (I feel like I just said the same thing about another watch very recently).
I completely understand your predicament …

Similar for me Jay.

Love the watch but wear it less than others. Why? It's valuable, crime in my area, a little bolder than other 5-digit steel models. How about you?
Long wait.

He asked if my Day Date was a women’s watch last time we got together. So if I can’t convince him based on the timeless beauty of a 36mm Day Date then there’s little hope.
I never noticed that!

I don't drink soda, so I never thought of that! I used to have this lime green anodized Carabiner on my backpack during my Boy Scouts camping days and it reminds me of that.
That is my next move exactly. 😂

I actually took it out but then realized I didn’t have enough time to set it and so grabbed the Kermit instead.
