Rolex

Rather unexpected purchase but the Skydweller really grew on me. The command 3 position bezel function is really cool, well done Rolex. The watch has wrist presence but it ain’t bulky at all. ...  

......but a lot of people who's opinion i really respect tell me that the watch is fantastic. Congratulations Maltie....wear it in the best of health

The blue dial has so much personality, the movement complications extremely useful AND simple to set, plus it feels very balanced on the wrist. Been a daily beater for months and, well, so far my fave after a few decades of wearing quite a few other daily...

May I ask if this is available walk in or it’s one of your connections with AD? My AD who got me the ceramic white Daytona has none and said this one is as hard to get as the Daytona. Volker got it because of his good relationship with his AD. Another mem... 

I have several friends who are very good customers of my AD too and who are still waiting. If I understood correctly, Ian didn’t buy at a Rolex AD but at an aftermarket dealer. I cannot imagine that the situation in Switzerland is any different from here.... 

I guess it’s just Rolex allocation and supply/demand thing again. No worries, many of us here can wait, not like we are short of watches to wear 🤣

I booked the watch right after Baselworld, but was not the first on the list. I was at the time not even sure I wanted it. According to my AD they get one randomly every 6 to 8 weeks and waiting list is now more then 3 years. The operation with the Bezel ...

Huge Congrats . I am not a huge rolex fan but this model is very nice indeed

...a great daily beater. Wonderful wrist balance, glorious dial, and great set of complications. Wear it daily.

I’ve been reading elsewhere that the white dial is the easiest to read the blue dial and the black are a bit tougher needing a longer glance ? What do you think ?
