A very quiet day and I have not really anything sensible to do.

I have played with my Pepsi and Tudor 58 and tried to understand the similarities and differences. One thing we know well: Tudor 58 has a lot of the DNA of Rolex Submariner. But what does modern Rolex have what is missing from Tudor?

The edges of the Rolex case are razor sharp while the same part of Tudor case are a bit rounded making the watch more comfortable to wear. And: Rolex is very readable but Tudor even more readable.

If the coming days will be as quiet, I might be tempted to start to check also a couple of Patek...

Best, Kari

Warm regards my friend. Enjoy your diverse collection. Best wishes. 😊 Geross

Now I just need to go diving.

I have been too long on the dry land, for over 6 years. It would be interesting to jump to the water and see if I still know how to dive. I might be the first Divemaster who is drowning on spot. Best, Kari

Nice duo, Kari. [nt]

My first plan was to get Tudor GMT + 58. However, GMT is a bit thick and unnecessary big. So I went for Pepsi + 58. Out of these two, Tudor makes my heart beat faster. Best, Kari

Enjoy these two. [nt]

Beside your wonderful personal story (gift from a friend) the 58 is also a really great watch in all other aspects. And so (= too) much under the radar... Perhaps my next catch. With leather strap. Best, Thomas

Under the radar...

Nothing is too much under the radar. I have totally lost the interest to impress anybody else. What I feel about the watch is the only thing that matters. And good value for the money is something I love (even I did not buy the watch myself). Best, Kari

Completely agree!

With “under the radar” I mean that still too many watch lovers haven’t detected the strengths of Tudor by being more impressed by the power of the brand “Rolex” and its higher recognition effect. For me it has never made sense to buy a watch to impress ot...

Great. I agree. [nt]
