I know here in the forum, the wind blows stronger towards the Explorer, especially the vintage ones. But for me, if you were looking for that "one" Rolex, I would go for a date-just. nothing is more Rolex than that. and the beauty of a date-just is that you can have the versatility and freedom of choosing how "in your face" you want it, you can dress it up by choosing a jubilee bracelet, a fluted bezel and precious metal. or you can dress it down with an oyster bracelet, a domed bezel and steel. I would go for the latter
