A glossy dial...

From late eighties on a 5513 from late sixties. Again "bicchierini", it means white-gold surrounded indices but with only a very slight colour shift being really appreciable here. The tritium of the hour indices even quite matches the superwhite superluminova material in the hour and minute hands. This was sandard practice after the removal of the original matte dial until late nineties. Todays it is seen by collectors as something heretical to say the least!

1675 dial patina vs 16800 patina?

The typical 1675 patina I see creates a “smooth” grayish dial. By contrast, this 16800 tritium dial looks more speckled. Is it different materials? Or just that some age differently? ...

Perfect - thank you
