This has been my primary covid watch, spending months on my wrist during the lockdowns. While I enjoy getting back to a rotation, something incredibly comforting about strapping this GADA piece on as autumn is slowly setting in. Does anyone else have simi...

Thank you Nico

Ah! The infamous Air-King. So much personality to this watch. Like many others here, this one has been growing on me since you got your example, to the point that I am slowly starting scouting for one. Another perfect comfort watch

The former or the new one?

Interesting question

I never really cared that much for the old one (case a bit thick for my taste, asymmetry of the dial, polished 3-6-9 indexes that disappear in the dial at some angles). But I have seen (and tried) the new version at an AD (display only model, obviously), ...

It could do without the crown guards, to be honest

But I find they integrated it quite well, so it doesn't really bother me.

Thanks, Boris.

Tough one

While I like tje white inlays to the numerals on the new numerals, I think it was a mistake to add the crown guards. The old case did more to support the quirkiness and intermediate position of this watch in the Rolex line-up. But others may of course dis...

Me too!

I feel the same about the 16570

One of my all time favorite watches. Understatement, toughness, versatility, it's pretty much the perfect sports watch for me. Mine says hi. ...

Very good quality tropic style straps, with a nice color selection.

Wow, the shot!!!

Think this is the best picture I have ever seen of the 42EXPII, kudos!

Sorry to hear that!

Funnily, I stumbled into this watch, accepting it as part of a trade for a JLC, thinking it would be easier to monetise. I had never thought I would own a Rolex, but something just clicked when I put it on, and today I can't imagine parting with it.

Yes! I completely relate to these sentiments.
