Tudor 79230DK

Hi guys, I have been fascinated by the Tudor Black Bay Dark. However I am not sure how the PVD treated steel will age, I know that the scratches will appear light gray, you cannot polish it etc. That’s part of the charm I guess.

So now the question to you guys, does anyone have experience with this piece?

PVD is just the procedure ...

... so DLC is also a PVD process. What counts is the material that is deposited onto the steel base. Diamnod-like carbon (DLC) is very hard, but not indestructible. I have one DLC coated timepiece that is used very often as my holidays watch and therefore...

Good advice. [nt]
