Rolex

Part of me thinks I should hate this watch. But I'm strangely attracted to it. Any thoughts? I'm sure these are essentially unobtainable now at the ADs. ...  

It’s a tad thick though, just fyi, which of course is personal preference. If you like it, go for it.

I prefer the black, for its depth, but the blue is even more original. Maybe too original? ...

I mean, I like the Milgauss a lot, especially the green crystal, black dial version. But the colors on the z-blue just clash horribly to my eyes. I'm not a fan of this version at all.

In fact it might be my favorite modern Rolex! So the z-blue hatred is 100% a color combo complaint on my part.

A watch which should not be judged based on pictures alone.

What I mean is that it is actually super elegant in the flesh. I bought it as my last and least preferred of the 4, but I consider it a complete gem. Would never part with any of my Millies, and the blue the same. Good luck choosing! ...  

I have the white dial version. Interesting thing is today after reading your message, did I notice the dial has the 05, 10, 15 etc., on the very edge. Having owned it for so long, I never noticed them. Which Rolex has this type of marking? Other than the ...

"Milgauss" is just the historical name...it has a much higher anti-magnetism at this point.

It's my favorite Rolex and a keeper in my collection. It has doubled in value since I picked one up, but I still feel it's undervalued relative to other Rolexes, given how fantastic and special it is. As others have mentioned, it is a bit thick and heavy ...  

with great character. I love the case shape, sure, a tad thicker but only a tad. Cool engraving on the case back. The anti mag s apparently 15 times the rating. You have to try it to fully appreciate it. It's a winner but probably going to be discontinued...

Blue + green is unusual combo but somehow works along with orange thunder ...  

Went with the black dial GV - would have considered the blue had it not been shiny “sun brushed” or whatever they call it…
