Wow. It’s HUGE ...

I need to get a HUMMER first

Saw that beast last Friday as well

It is huge and feels like a weapon on your wrist

Proper sizing ...

is critical to make it comfortable. Just like the regular DSSD ... I was reading a DSC incoming thread on another forum, where the owner had to remove 2 links (but diver's extension kept) to get a comfortable fit. My experience is similar ... I had to rem...

Thanks! πŸ™πŸ˜Š

I myself was 100% convinced only *after* it was sized properly. It's always going to be a BIG watch no matter what, but it's going to be comfortable!

Yes, large and pretty much pointless

 By: Thomas_3 : November 28th, 2022-17:43
with that depth rating. Even 300 meter rating on the Submariner is a bit much. But I guess if you want the "hey, look at me " factor that's the watch to have. Just my unsolicited opinion.

To be honest ...

it can be argued that any watch we discuss on this forum is pretty much "pointless" ... πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ I guess, the "point" is in the eye of the beholder ... πŸ€—

Good "point"

+1

Definitely, and I'm again only an independent observer....but like I'm drawn to admire the highest artistic/horological expressions in a Patek (also "pointless" in practical terms), this Rolex attracts for its superb *technical* expression! ;-)

Of course, even if the technical achievement of this piece is pretty objective and I believe should be highlighted, any opinion is respectable. In the end, this thread mostly revolves around personal taste and the aesthetics of a (huge) watch! Cheers.

This is an absurdity

and well, it is nice from Rolex to get out there from time to time. Many people criticise the brand for not evolving enough - they do push the boundaries from time to time, even if the end result is not my taste

This Rolex with its 50mm case exceeds the 48mm AP T3, a monster from the depths...

OMG this makes my panerai looks like small watches!

Simply ridiculous

It’s beyond bonkers! But I know it will appeal to some watch lovers.

I have ranted about the ridiculous proportions and superhuman degrees of water resistance in previous comments, but now this watch is actually a live thing there will be fans.

Dear God, that is big.

I must go and try it

Very curious how it’s wear and feel. Incredible piece of engineering there.
