I've heard it before, especially in the US. Plus, it is not just Rolex.

I've traveled to neighboring cities of the same chain to try on other brands so my assumption was the policy only applies for Rolex.

here in Los Angeles is really adamant about keeping their business as “Local” as they can. I understand it, and in fact appreciate that policy.

Curious to know why the special order....need Pros and Cons analysis to know what’s the right watch? Buy off the display and be in the good list may be a better decision but I respect the fact they are the ones spending and should be happy to buy what the...

As long as people think that a mass-produced, zero complication, zero hand-finished is the coolest thing in the world to possess, these insane Rolex-rules will be applied with impunity. And of course Patek is equally guilty of their “application piece” ru...
