I've had mine since new, June 1978. A tad beat up after a couple of decades climbing in the Himalaya and Karakoram. ...

Wow. The real deal.

Owned by a real life Explorer. I’m pleased it’s served you well and never been polished. Hope it keeps you company exploring for years to come. M.

Good plan.

The 1655 deserves some pampering after all that adventure. Out of interest though in all those years and in all that adventure has it ever let you down or has it always trundled on like a true work horse ??? M.

Nary a hiccup.

It never complained. I did have the crystal replaced once in the mid 80's as it was so beat up. It and a Great White Sea Dweller were my constant companions.

Big Steve McQueen fan.

Is the picture real? Did he go in the water with his PP or is that photoshop and an inside joke I’m not privy to?

For you have looked at both convention and common sense and laughed in their face. 🤪 Hope it comes back from service soon.

This was years ago and no problem.
