Which one do you prefer and why?

I prefer smooth bezel and oyster
i.e. the less shiny option of the two But I would be keen to try a Jubilee out of curiosity
I'd prefer a combination of the two. I've always liked the Jubilee bracelet. But I also prefer the smooth bezel to tone down the bling of the Jubilee bracelet.
So in this case I'm not sure which watch I'd choose.

I used to think that Jubilee and smooth bezel was a weird combo, but it might be my preferred one actually

I love the smooth bezel and the Oyster bracelet. The Oyster bracelet is IMHO much more attractive. George
Keep in mind that not only is this choice is very subjective, but it's also minor enough that whichever of the two you choose, in 6 months from now you may view it differently...:-))
As I look at it again, I'm still for the oyster, but I'm coming to the conclusion that what I don't like much here is the fluted bezel -- a beauty of this watch is the dial, and the fluted bezel is taking some of the attention away when I look at the gree...

The fluted bezel and Jubilee bracelet remind me of 1980s Wall Street. For my personal taste I would choose the less flashy smooth bezel with oyster bracelet.
It’s all a matter of what fits your personality best, and what you enjoy wearing. There’s no right or wrong answer.

the play of light against the fluted bezel and jubilee clinches it for me.

is for me the perfect match of elegance and casual style
The only thing that keeps me from putting any DJ41 on my list is the set of hands. I feel it’s too thin relative to the bezel size, markers and expanse of the dial. Having said that, I’d go with the smooth bezel..
The DJ36 variant is better proportioned. Have to see the 36 on my wrist if it’s small-ish or just right.

I think that the smooth bezel looks larger, although it might be a visual effect.
For 41mm I’d go for smooth.
For 36mm I’d go for fluted jubilee (disclaimer: already have one)

It seems like the smooth bezel is getting most of the votes, I wasn't expecting it!
I have looked at this combination but with a white dial...
and went round-and-round with the same combinations... in the end I preferred the smooth bezel and oyster bracelet. The Roman Numerals are to die for ;-) Great watch. Casey

It might look weird when you first see it, but overall it works in my opinion, it balances everything out.
