They conveniently throw the AD's under the bus, while utterly failing to crack down on their dodgy practices of instantly flipping hot models to grey dealers. Or charging a second invoice for "services" to capture the difference between list price and market value for themselves.
Lastly, there is no shortage of Rolex: anyone can walk into any Rolex AD and buy 10 two tone models on the spot. Rolex choses to not produce what the market asks for (stainless steel models) to push two tone and full gold model on which their margins are higher. So this statement is disingenuous, at best.
Not sure who decided that this communication was a good idea, but as far as I am concerned, staying silent would have been a far better option.
Not that I care that much, seeing the plethora of great watches readily available from other brands.
